Job Description
The Clinical Registered Nurse (RN) II provides individualized patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate care plans.
Responsibilities include conducting assessments, planning and modifying care, performing treatments, and evaluating patient responses.
The RN educates patients and families, ensures a safe environment, and manages complex patient needs, including emergency interventions.
They support quality improvement initiatives, participate in research, and mentor staff and students.
Requirements include a nursing diploma or associate degree, at least one year of RN experience, Virginia RN licensure, and BLS certification.
Additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, or specialty-specific credentials may be required based on department or unit standards.
