Job Description
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, this role supports routine patient care activities and performs clerical and organizational tasks in a nursing unit. Responsibilities include assisting with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, preparing rooms, ensuring patient belongings accompany them, and safely transporting stable patients. The role involves maintaining equipment, supplies, and unit organization, responding to emergencies, and communicating effectively with team members. It also includes monitoring patient conditions, reporting changes, and adapting care to meet individual needs. The position requires a CNA license, BLS certification, and preferred patient care experience. High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. Work schedule is flexible, with per diem as needed.
