Job Description

The Behavioral Health APRN is a full-time team member working with a multidisciplinary CIC team to provide acute behavioral health crisis care.

Responsibilities include expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders through person-centered approaches, delivering pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions. The role requires on-call availability, holiday rotation, and flexibility to assist in other areas as needed to ensure continuous operations.

Job requirements include a master’s in nursing, Kansas RN license, APRN registration, and national certification. Preferred experience in psychopharmacology and psychopathology is desirable. Must maintain licensure, CPR certification, valid driver’s license, and pass background and drug screenings. Physical requirements involve lifting up to 50 pounds and physical activities like kneeling and restraining individuals.
