Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Behavioral Health Counselor/Therapist to provide services for children and adults.
Conduct psychosocial assessments of patients and families to identify emotional, social, and environmental strengths and challenges related to their diagnosis or life situation.
Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans using clinical social work interventions, including crisis, individual, marital, or family therapy.
Provide crisis intervention, emergency services, and participate in staff case conferences to coordinate care.
Maintain detailed case records, document assessments, interactions, and interventions, and ensure confidentiality.
Offer education to patients and families on adaptation and community resources, and collaborate with healthcare teams.
Maintain knowledge of community agencies and provide consultative support within scope of practice.
This role requires some travel, and candidates must have a Master’s degree in Behavioral Science or a related field, along with applicable licensure in Iowa.
