Job Description
We are seeking a Behavioral Health Counselor/Therapist to provide services for children and adults.
Conduct psychosocial assessments to identify emotional, social, and environmental strengths and challenges. Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans utilizing clinical social work interventions. Offer crisis intervention, individual, marital, and family therapies as needed. Participate in staff meetings and collaborate with therapy teams to enhance patient care. Maintain detailed case records and documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress. Educate patients and families on adapting to diagnoses and treatment processes. Coordinate with community resources and provide consultative support to healthcare team members. Ensure confidentiality and comply with legal and organizational record-keeping standards. Some travel may be required.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Behavioral Science or related field and licensure as LMHC, tLMHC, LMSW, or LISW in Iowa.
