Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Job Description

Under limited supervision, the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant provides comprehensive mental health care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and medication management, collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, diagnosing mental health conditions, developing treatment plans, providing crisis intervention and psychotherapy, and maintaining accurate documentation in the EMR.

Requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant sciences, valid licensure in South Carolina, national certification, and at least two years of psychiatric experience. Certification in psychiatric mental health is preferred, along with BLS certification.

This role involves working at multiple locations, including two days per week in Hartsville, SC. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and professional development support.
