Job Description

This full-time Licensed Mental Health Clinician position is based at the York County Jail in Alfred, ME.

Responsibilities include conducting psychosocial assessments, providing counseling, crisis intervention, case management, and short-term therapy within a correctional setting.

Responsibilities also involve collecting patient information through interviews and tests, evaluating data to determine treatment approaches, preparing follow-up care plans, and coordinating with other health professionals. Knowledge of DSM-5 criteria and emergency services is essential.

Qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related field, current state licensure, CPR certification, and ability to pass background checks.
