Seeking an Emergency Medicine MD for locum tenens coverage in Dothan, AL. This inpatient role offers flexible shifts (6a-6p, 10a-10p, 6p-6a) with nights preferred, supporting a Level III trauma center with 25 beds and a patient volume of 21. The team includes 8 RNs, 2 MAs, and 2 APPs, with backup coverage from various specialties. Requirements include active AL license, BC/BE, ACLS, BLS, PALS, and DEA; ATLS if not boarded. The assignment is ongoing from March 2026, with travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered. The facility uses Cerner EMR and has onsite L&D. This is a clinical-only position with support from multiple surgical and diagnostic specialties.
