*Overview*
We are seeking a Licensed Physician to provide medical evaluations and treatment for adult and adolescent patients, in a Physical Therapy/Rehab setting. The MD will use their expertise in primary care to provide high quality health care and medical education to patients and collaborate with a highly skilled team of Clinician’s to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.

This is a local travel MD Position, providing coverage 3 days per week in the Norfolk/Va Beach/Portsmouth areas and 2 days per week in Newport News.

*Some MD Responsibilities;*

* MD will work with a diverse patient population, primarily General Orthopedics, Personal Injury and Workers Comp.
* MD will Instruct patients and families regarding treatment plans and medications.
* Perform physical examinations, compile medical data/histories and implement treatment plans on new and existing patients.
* Monitor patients and administer medications according to Clinics policies.
* Work closely with Physical Therapists, and other clinic support staff.
* Provide follow-up care to patients according to Clinics policies.

* Depending on experience, the MD will receive an annual salary of $205,000 – $230,000 per year.

*Some MD Requirements;*

* Must be licensed or in the process of being licensed by the Board of Medicine, in the State of Practice.
* Must be comfortable working in a busy Outpatient clinic environment
* The MD schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5 PM, rotating between the above listed locations. (No weekends, no nights and no “On Call”)
