Job Description
Responsible for evaluating, planning, and administering Speech/Language Pathology treatments as prescribed by physicians to restore function and prevent disability.
Performs patient assessments, develops and implements treatment plans, and documents progress in medical records.
Provides patient and family education, addresses psychosocial and cultural needs, and collaborates with healthcare team members.
Ensures compliance with standards of care, participates in performance improvement activities, and maintains departmental records.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, state licensure, and experience working with diverse populations, preferably geriatrics.
Requires strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with physical ability to perform necessary activities. Full-time position with benefits, based in Ironton, OH, with in-person work and relocation required.
