They must understand administrative and nursing policies, procedures, and community resources. In the absence of the Nurse Manager, the Supervisor initiates disciplinary actions.
Availability includes working every Saturday, Sunday, and one additional weekday from 7am-7pm.
Key duties involve monitoring care through chart audits, supervising staff and specialists, participating in program development, and serving as a preceptor for new staff.
Requirements include Michigan RN licensure, 1-3 years psychiatric experience, supervisory experience preferred, and a Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
