Home Health Speech Therapist

Job Description

This position is limited to Speech Therapists conducting home visits in Tucson, AZ.
In this role, you will provide independent, age-appropriate speech therapy evaluations and treatments at patients’ residences, developing care plans, educating families, and coordinating with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities include:
– Evaluating patients and interpreting findings
– Setting and adjusting treatment goals
– Reassessing progress and modifying plans
– Initiating discharge planning and documenting patient management
– Making interdisciplinary referrals
– Participating in clinical research, patient care clinics, and team conferences
– Supporting departmental programs and staff education

Qualifications:
– Minimum 2 years of speech therapy experience
– Bachelor’s or Master’s in speech therapy
– Speech-Language Pathologist License (AZ)
– Valid AZ Driver’s License and BLS certification
– Strong communication and holistic patient assessment skills

Preferred: Experience with clinical information systems, Medicare regulations knowledge, and travel willingness (75%).
Compensation ranges from $80.00 to $90.00/hour for 20-30 hours/week with flexible scheduling, Monday to Friday, with weekend as needed.
