Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

Job Description

We are a growing provider of psychiatric and psycho-social services in long-term care across multiple Midwest states, with immediate openings for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing or interested in geriatric psychiatry.

Location: Mt. Horeb, WI
Type: Full-Time, Day shifts, M-F, no weekends or on-call

Qualifications:

• NP or PA degree from an accredited university
• Valid, full license and DEA# in WI
• Strong communication and mental health care knowledge
• Experience with geriatric populations and Medicare standards is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment for mostly geriatric patients in various care settings
• Prescribe or adjust psychotropic medications
• See 12-15 patients daily, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure documentation meets Medicare standards
