Job Description
The Clinical Supervisor, reporting to Nursing Leadership, oversees shift operations and ensures nursing care safety and quality in a clinical department.
They collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support comprehensive patient and family services, supervise nursing staff, and provide direct patient care when needed.
Requirements include a graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN preferred), current RN license in New Mexico, and certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or obtain within 6 months).
Preferred candidates have 3+ years of relevant experience and demonstrate skills appropriate for the patient population.
Physical demands involve handling emergencies, prolonged standing, and patient transfers, with exposure to infectious diseases and unpredictable situations.
Must demonstrate professionalism, clinical excellence, and effective human resource and budget management skills.
