Job Description

A Home Health Aide (HHA) is a licensed CNA responsible for providing personal care, homemaking, and home management services in clients’ homes.

Assist with ADLs such as bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility.

Perform housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organization.

Prepare meals, run errands, and provide transportation to appointments and social activities.

Offer companionship, emotional support, and recreational engagement.

Ensure services are delivered respectfully and in accordance with agency policies.

Document tasks and communicate with agency staff.

Follow safety protocols; avoid nursing practices like medication administration.

Qualifications include: Certified CNA license, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass background checks and screenings.

Physical demands involve light exertion, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
