We are seeking a dedicated Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a well-established and growing pulmonary medicine practice just south of Boston. This is an excellent opportunity to work collaboratively with experienced pulmonologists in a supportive, team-oriented environment focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.


Position Highlights

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic pulmonary conditions
  • Conduct follow-up visits and ongoing disease management for pulmonary patients
  • Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including PFTs, imaging, and laboratory tests
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans
  • Provide patient education on disease management and preventive care
  • Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record
  • Collaborate closely with pulmonologists and interdisciplinary care teams

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program
  • Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification
  • Massachusetts license or eligibility for licensure

  • Prior experience in pulmonary medicine preferred (new graduates with strong interest considered)
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and patient-centered care approach
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
