Seeking a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a correctional facility in Herlong, CA. This contract position offers 40 hours/week, with shifts from 7am to 3:30pm, and a pay rate of $80/hr. The ideal candidate has an unrestricted NP license in CA or NV, BLS certification, and at least 12 years of family medicine or urgent care experience. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, managing conditions, performing exams, administering medications, providing emergency care, interpreting tests, and documenting in EHRs. Collaboration with healthcare teams and maintaining ethical inmate interactions are essential. The position may lead to a long-term contract, with the start date ASAP.
