Job Description

We are hiring a PRN Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide healthcare in a correctional facility in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Pay rates range from $68.87 to $70.00 per hour, based on experience and licensure.

As an NP in this setting, you’ll assess, diagnose, and treat patients with various medical conditions, manage chronic illnesses, prescribe medications, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with correctional staff to ensure safety.

Responsibilities include conducting physical exams, developing treatment plans, managing acute and chronic conditions, documenting patient care, and educating patients on health topics.

Qualifications: Master’s or Doctorate in nursing, current Oregon NP license, DEA registration, BLS certification, and experience with direct patient care.

Physical ability to perform tasks like lifting patients and standing long shifts is required.
