Seeking an Emergency Medicine MD for a locum position in Tennessee. The role involves night shifts (4 days of 10 hours each) with no call, on a rotational schedule. The position is full-time, starting ASAP, with a duration of one year. Candidates must be ABEM certified and experience standard ED procedures; new grads are welcome. The facility is a rural, non-trauma center with support staff including nurses and techs. Orientation includes a 2-day shadow and EMR training. Credentialing may allow emergency privileges pending a clean file. The patient population presents typical ER visits, with case follow-up handled as needed.
