Job Description
We are seeking a licensed Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to serve as a Non-Clinical Medical Expert/VA Disability Examiner on a part-time, contractual basis.
Provide in-person Veterans disability assessments at designated or approved locations, focusing on non-treatment compensation and pension exams.
Complete charting for Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQ) via a web portal, typically taking 30 minutes to an hour per veteran.
No ongoing care or prescribing involved; the role involves one-time evaluations.
Receive comprehensive live training, including a paid, all-expenses-paid session in Oceanside, CA, scheduled from February 1-6, 2026.
Requirements include a current Medical License and proximity to Beckley, WV (within 50-100 miles).
Pay ranges from $200 to $400 per hour, with flexible scheduling. Candidates must be able to attend the training and have a doctorate degree preferred.
