Job Description
The Wound Care Provider (MD/DO) reports to the CMO and supervises nurses and medical assistants.
Provides specialized wound care in home, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. Performs assessments, develops care plans, educates patients/caregivers, and collaborates with healthcare teams to ensure healing. Requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, active licensure, and wound care certification within 6 months. Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience; active patient contact preferred. Must have physical stamina, adaptability, and reliable transportation; travel approximately 25%. Key duties include wound assessment, treatment provision, supervision of staff, documentation, and coordination of care. Ensures compliance with safety, infection control, and HIPAA policies.
