Job Description

Seeking a compassionate and culturally humble Pediatrics Nurse Practitioner for a locums position serving the Rosebud Sioux (Sicangu Oyate) community in the Great Plains Indian Health Service area.

Position Highlights:

  • Start Date: ASAP upon credentialing
  • Duration: Minimum 12-week commitment
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM (1-hour lunch)
  • Flexibility: 3–5 days/week considered
  • Patient volume: ~15–18 patients/day
  • Scope: Ages 0–18, outpatient well and sick visits
  • No call required

    • Requirements:

  • Board Certified Pediatrics Nurse Practitioner
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
  • Active, unrestricted license and DEA from any U.S. state or territory
  • No lapse in clinical practice >6 months
  • Demonstrated cultural humility and commitment to underserved communities
