Job Description
This nursing position requires a graduate of an accredited nursing program, with a preference for a BSN and specialty certification. The candidate must hold a current RN license in New Mexico, along with BLS certification, and obtain ACLS within 6 months. PALS/NRP and TNCC certifications are preferred or required within 6 months if applicable. CPI or equivalent is necessary for Behavioral Health and Emergency departments.
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience preferred but not mandatory. Must demonstrate age-specific care skills and adapt to a fast-paced, unpredictable environment with exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays. Works irregular hours and handles multiple patient care activities, requiring physical strength, good body mechanics, manual dexterity, and normal hearing and vision. Responsible to nursing leadership, with a focus on safety and emergency response.
