Job Description

This role involves conducting non-treatment disability examinations for Veterans related to Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).

Qualifications include completing a Residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Neurology, Neurosurgery, or Psychiatry.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform one-time in-person or remote TBI disability exams lasting approximately 30 minutes to one hour.
  • Complete web-based documentation (DBQ) to assess diagnoses and disabilities.
  • Participate in training sessions on efficient charting processes.
  • Meet Veterans at designated or approved locations.

    Working conditions:

  • No ongoing care or medication prescribing required.
  • Flexible scheduling.
  • Must attend a fully paid training in Oceanside, CA, from October 26-31, 2025.

    Position types include full-time, part-time, contract, or temporary, with pay ranging from $200 to $400 per hour.

    Applicants should have a medical license, be within 50-100 miles of Fort Wayne, IN, and be willing to attend the training if selected.
    Flexibility and interest in non-clinical military medicine opportunities are preferred.
