Short-Term Holiday Coverage | March 17-18 | Weekday Schedule | Low Patient Volume

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a short-term primary care assignment in Mesquite, Texas. This clinic-based role provides steady daytime hours, a predictable workflow, and scheduled-only visits — ideal for NPs/PAs with availability to support a community clinic during year-end staffing gaps.

  • Schedule:
    • 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
    • Weekdays only — no weekends
  • EMR: eClinicalWorks (eCW)
  • Patient Volume: 5–10 patients/day (all scheduled)
Clinical Responsibilities
The NP/PA will deliver routine primary care services, including:
  • Chronic disease management
  • Preventive and wellness examinations
  • Acute non-emergent care
  • Medication refills & medication management
  • Physical examinations
  • Patient counseling & care coordination
  • Accurate documentation within eCW
No procedures beyond standard primary care. No walk-ins. No urgent care surge.

Candidate Requirements
  • Active & unrestricted Texas NP or PA license
  • Active DEA (required)
  • Board Certified (any specialty accepted with Primary Care experience)
  • Proficiency with outpatient primary care workflows
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Reliable, organized, and personable with patients
