The Clinical Nurse provides competent patient care in a hospital setting, reporting to the Nurse Manager/Director. Responsibilities include:
- Participating in patient and family education, assessing learning needs, and promoting understanding.
- Evaluating care plans, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and ensuring continuity of care.
- Implementing care for patients with complex conditions, utilizing policies and standards, and prioritizing needs.
- Demonstrating leadership by setting goals, fostering collaboration, and contributing to performance improvement.
- Assessing patient data, anticipating discharge needs, and building relationships with families.
- Planning care with patients and families, addressing cultural considerations, and prioritizing tasks.
- Engaging in ongoing research and applying new knowledge to practice.
Qualifications include a nursing degree, North Carolina RN licensure, BLS certification, and at least one year of nursing experience. This full-time, night shift position offers onsite work and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
