*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and a full/part time Gastroenterologist to join our esteemed medical team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal disorders, with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role requires collaboration with other medical professionals and the ability to work in various settings, including hospitals and outpatient clinics.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with gastrointestinal issues, including but not limited to abdominal pain, digestive disorders, and liver diseases.
* Perform diagnostic procedures such as endoscopies and colonoscopies.
* Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
* Collaborate with specialists in related fields such as ICU, Urology, Pathology, Sleep Medicine, Immunology, and Primary Care to ensure holistic patient care.
* Stay updated on advancements in gastroenterology practices and technologies.
* Educate patients and their families about treatment options, preventive measures, and lifestyle modifications.
*Experience*
* Board certification in Gastroenterology is required.
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
* Familiarity with DME (Durable Medical Equipment) is advantageous.
* Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Strong communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
* ERCP/EUS skills are desirable but not required
