This role involves providing competent clinical nursing care in a hospital setting, reporting to the Nurse Manager/Director.
Responsibilities include:
- Participating in patient and family education, assessing learning needs, and delivering tailored education materials.
- Evaluating care outcomes, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and communicating effectively to ensure continuity of care.
- Performing complex patient care, bedside testing, and prioritizing tasks based on patient needs.
- Supporting professional growth, promoting team collaboration, and contributing to performance improvement activities.
- Conducting thorough patient assessments, anticipating discharge needs, and building relationships with families.
- Developing and updating care plans collaboratively, considering cultural factors, and prioritizing care tasks.
- Engaging in research and staying informed about current practices to enhance patient care.
