Nurse Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Nurse Manager (RN or LPN) to lead our nursing team in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising and supporting nursing staff to deliver resident-centered care
• Managing daily operations, staffing, and care coordination
• Conducting clinical rounds and monitoring care plans
• Overseeing medication administration and treatments; IV skills are a plus
• Participating in utilization review and ensuring proper care transitions
• Training, mentoring, and evaluating staff performance
• Maintaining safety standards and infection control
• Responding to emergencies and documenting care activities

Qualifications:

• Active NM RN or LPN license
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience, preferably in long-term care or rehab
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience with EMR systems, especially PointClickCare
• BLS certification required; additional certifications a plus
