Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant

Job Description

This part-time role involves providing patient-centered care for older adults in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities in Glasgow, KY, working 3 days a week (M-F, 8 am-5 pm).

Key responsibilities include serving as the primary care provider, conducting assessments, managing acute and chronic conditions, coordinating care with staff, documenting encounters accurately, and educating patients and families. Call coverage is provided via telehealth for backup and hospital transfer oversight.

Qualifications required are a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies, active licensure in Tennessee, national certification, and DEA registration or eligibility. Experience in post-acute or long-term care is preferred.
