Job Description

This contract position seeks a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist or TSLI with a Master’s degree and relevant licensing or certification, preferably with experience in urban public schools.

Essential duties include evaluating students for special education eligibility, developing and implementing IEPs, and monitoring progress. The role involves collaborating with families and staff, providing counseling, and participating in support teams and training.

Candidates must maintain compliance with special education regulations, keep accurate records, and perform related duties as assigned.

This flexible, full- or part-time role is ideal for retired professionals, offering small caseloads and a pay rate of $50-$60/hour.

Work is in-person, during school hours, with a focus on supporting students’ communication needs.
