Job Description
The Charge Nurse supervises nursing care according to physicians’ orders, directs staff, and ensures quality resident care during their shift.
Responsibilities include administering medications, documenting care, supervising staff, following care plans, reporting abnormal findings, managing shift operations, and adhering to safety and infection control practices. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN or LPN license, and CPR certification preferred.
