Job Description
We are seeking a licensed Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to serve as a Non-Clinical Medical Expert/VA Disability Examiner in a flexible, part-time, contract role.
Conduct in-person or approved remote assessments for Veterans’ disability claims, focusing on psychiatric evaluations via web-based documentation (DBQ).
No ongoing patient care or prescribing involved.
Receive one-on-one training on charting and exam procedures, with sessions held in Oceanside, CA, with travel expenses paid.
Appointments are scheduled in advance, lasting approximately 30 minutes to an hour.
Pay ranges from $200 to $400 per hour, with a relaxed work environment and flexible schedule.
Required: Current Medical License and Doctorate.
Applicants should be near Fairbanks, AK, and able to attend the February 2026 training in California.
