Job Description
We are seeking a licensed Psychiatrist (MD/DO) for a part-time, contract role as a VA Disability Examiner in a relaxed, customer-focused environment.
Provide one-on-one training on completing charting for VA disability exams (DBQs).
Conduct in-person assessments at designated or approved locations, with no ongoing care or prescribing involved.
Complete web-based documentation to evaluate veterans’ diagnoses/disabilities, typically taking 30 minutes to an hour per appointment.
Flexible scheduling with appointments scheduled in advance.
Must attend a paid training in Oceanside, CA, scheduled for February 2026.
Pay ranges from $200 to $400 per hour, with benefits including flexible hours.
Required qualifications include a current medical license and a doctorate degree. Candidates should be within 50-100 miles of Fairbanks, AK, and able to attend the training if selected.
