Job Description

Opportunity to provide psychiatric treatment to adult patients in a State Hospital setting in Rusk, TX. This 3-6 month contract offers a schedule of 8AM-5PM, Monday-Friday with an hourly rate of $145-$155.

Role Summary: Diagnose, assess, and treat psychiatric conditions, lead treatment teams, develop individualized care plans, document clinical notes, and provide staff consultation and training. Participate in clinical meetings, monitor outcomes, and serve on committees to ensure high-quality, compliant care. No on-call required, with potential court testimony.

Qualifications: Current Texas license (no sanctions), Board eligibility, DEA, NPI, CPR/BLS, HHSC immunization, drug test, and fingerprinting compliance.
