We operate five practice locations across *Carrollwood, South Tampa, Brooksville, Gainesville, and Sebring*, supported by three state‑of‑the‑art surgery centers. Our services include cataract, LASIK, ICL, retina, glaucoma, and oculoplastics.

*Overview:*

Newsom Eye is seeking a highly skilled, patient‑centered Refractive Surgeon to join our growing surgical team. This role is ideal for a surgeon with strong experience in laser vision correction and refractive cataract surgery who is passionate about delivering exceptional visual outcomes. Candidates with interest or additional expertise in advanced refractive technologies, premium IOLs, and vision‑correction innovation will thrive in our dynamic, multi‑specialty ophthalmology group.

*Responsibilities:*

* Provide comprehensive ophthalmic care
* Perform cataract surgery and other indicated procedures
* Optional: refractive, glaucoma, or cornea surgery depending on training
* Manage pre‑ and post‑operative patients
* Collaborate with optometrists and technicians
* Maintain accurate EMR documentation

*Qualifications:*

* MD or DO with completion of ophthalmology residency
* Board certified or board eligible
* Active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain)
* Strong surgical and clinical skills
* Excellent communication and patient‑care focus
