Job Description
This is a temporary 8-week, full-time position offering 40 hours per week with a pay rate of $45/hour.
Responsibilities include conducting psychosocial assessments, providing counseling, crisis intervention, case management, and developing treatment plans within a correctional facility as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Collect and evaluate patient information through interviews, tests, and observations to identify issues and determine appropriate interventions or referrals.
Deliver crisis counseling, short-term therapy, and emergency services as needed, demonstrating knowledge of DSM-5 criteria.
Collaborate with other behavioral health professionals and maintain documentation using electronic medical records.
Qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field, current state licensure (LPC, LPCC, LSW, or Clinical Social Worker), CPR certification, and the ability to pass background checks.
Position is in person in Alfred, ME, requiring the ability to commute.
