Job Description
The Nurse Manager position is a full-time, salaried role primarily during day shifts with some off-hours required, including weekends on-call.
Provides operational and administrative leadership for a busy long-term care unit, ensuring high-quality resident care and customer service. Works under the Director of Nursing and collaborates with other Nurse Managers to oversee clinical outcomes, compliance, safety, staff engagement, and regulatory standards. Coordinates resource utilization, care interventions, and interdisciplinary communication to enhance resident and family satisfaction. Requires current Michigan RN license, long-term care experience, and 1-3 years of management experience. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills necessary for effective collaboration with staff, residents, families, and external agencies. Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
