Position Overview
One of our Partners in Alaska is seeking a Board-Certified Family Practice Physician to provide outpatient-only locum tenens coverage for a coverage gap beginning May 1, 2026. This assignment offers a predictable weekday schedule, no call, and a manageable patient panel in a scenic Alaska community.
Provider compensation is structured using 2026 family medicine locum benchmarks for Alaska and is anchored directly to facility-set bill rates, resulting in upper-market provider pay for clinic-based family medicine.

Job Responsibilities
-
Provide outpatient family medicine care for patients of all ages
-
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
-
Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR
-
Deliver preventive care and routine follow-ups
-
Perform optional minor procedures if desired (not required)
Skills & Experience
-
Board Certified in Family Medicine
-
Active Alaska medical license and DEA required
-
Comfortable working as a solo provider
-
Clinical activity within the past 24 months
-
Must demonstrate admitting physician involvement for at least 20 patients in the past two years

Required certification: BLS (AHA or Red Cross)
