Job Description
This is a locum Physician Assistant position in Cardiothoracic Surgery in Cleveland, OH, starting ASAP for a minimum of 6 months.
Involves assisting in cardiac and thoracic surgeries, managing inpatient/outpatient adult patients, and providing ICU and step-down care. Shift includes day hours with 24-hour call coverage, including weekends and holidays. Requires active Ohio PA license, DEA, BLS, ACLS, and hospital privileges. Extensive experience in cardiac and thoracic surgery, proficiency with Epic EMR, and local candidates preferred. Procedures include robotic, VATS, open thoracotomy, CABG, valve surgeries, and vascular harvesting. Responsibilities include pre/postoperative management, intraoperative assistance, patient documentation, and participation in rounding and call duties.
