As a Clinical Nurse in the Cardiac Observation Unit, you will provide competent nursing care aligned with professional standards, coordinate patient care using the nursing process, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.


  • Participate in patient and family education, assessing learning needs and readiness.
  • Evaluate and adjust care plans, ensuring positive patient outcomes and continuity of care.
  • Demonstrate clinical competence in managing complex patient issues, utilizing healthcare standards and policies.
  • Contribute to professional growth, unit goals, and quality improvement activities.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, prioritize care, and plan with multidisciplinary resources.
  • Engage in research and apply relevant evidence-based practices.

  • Qualifications include graduation from a nursing program, current RN licensure in North Carolina, Basic Life Support certification, and at least one year of nursing experience. This full-time night position offers on-site work with 36 hours per week.
