Seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for locum coverage in Petoskey, MI, starting ASAP. The hospital-based role involves Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM, with 24-hour weekend call and no weekday night shifts. Coverage dates include multiple short-term periods from January to February 2026, with ongoing needs afterward. Responsibilities include outpatient and inpatient scopes (~18–20 daily), endoscopy, consults, and onsite labs and X-Ray. Requirements include active MI medical license, ERCP experience, ACLS, DEA, COVID vaccination, fellowship with 2–3 years experience, and a clean background. Candidates should provide availability, credentials, and immunizations. Support staff includes 2 physicians and 2 APPs. EMR is Cerner. Compensation is competitive with weekly pay. Credentialing and compliance follow standard protocols. Local candidates preferred, and all credentialing info must be submitted promptly.
