Job Description
The Licensed Clinician for the Young Adult Assertive Community Treatment (YAACT) Team provides community-based mental health services to young adults with serious mental illnesses and co-occurring substance use disorders, primarily in Brooklyn and Staten Island.
Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive psychiatric and psychosocial assessments, providing evidence-based treatment, crisis intervention, and supporting recovery and community integration.
They collaborate with families, utilize trauma-informed and person-centered approaches, and maintain documentation and data to inform clinical decisions.
Requirements include an active master’s-level license (LMSW or LMHC preferred), experience with culturally competent practices, strong crisis skills, and familiarity with community resources.
