Job Description
This role provides primary and episodic patient care independently and collaboratively, following established protocols and standards.
Ensures smooth patient flow and delivers high-quality care through comprehensive assessments, physical exams, and diagnostic testing. Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, interprets test results, and collaborates with supervising physicians on care plans. Prescribes medications, educates patients on health and disease prevention, and maintains safety and infection control standards. Maintains effective communication and relationships with patients and staff, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism. Utilizes computer systems for accurate data entry and reporting. Requirements include a nursing degree from an accredited program with at least 2 years of clinical experience, board certification as a nurse practitioner, current state licensure, DEA licensure, and BLS certification. Clinical experience in urgent, emergency, or ambulatory care settings is preferred.
