Job Description

We are a growing provider of psychiatric and psycho-social services in long-term care facilities across several states, with immediate openings for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing or interested in geriatric psychiatry in Peoria, IL.

This is a part-time, day-time position with no weekends or on-call requirements, offering flexible hours, autonomy, and more 1:1 patient time. Benefits include a 401(k) and flexible scheduling.
Qualifications:

• NP or PA degree from an accredited university
• Valid, full license and DEA# in the state
• Strong communication skills and knowledge of mental health care delivery
• Experience with Medicare standards is a plus

Responsibilities include providing psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and medication management for geriatric patients in various facilities, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining documentation. The role involves seeing 12-15 patients daily, with a preference for candidates with 1+ years of geriatric mental health experience. Full benefits are available for full-time staff, and pay starts at $55/hour.
