Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

Seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join a mental health department team.

Provide comprehensive health assessments, diagnostics, and mental health guidance to clients.

Collaborate with staff to develop and implement clinic policies and procedures.

Perform physical, neurodevelopmental, and emotional assessments, review health records, and order routine tests.

Collect medical histories and interpret preventive and diagnostic procedures.

Work closely with physicians to coordinate care and establish client treatment plans.

Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and maintain current certification.

Qualifications: Valid NYS RN license, graduation from an approved Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner program, and two years of nursing experience.
Salary: $126,000/year with benefits including health, dental, vision insurance, retirement, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and flexible spending accounts.
