Job Description
The Mid-Level Provider (NP/PA) independently delivers comprehensive, evidence-based primary care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and patient counseling, documented via Athenahealth EHR.
Required qualifications include a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, active Texas license, certification (e.g., ANCC or PANCE), and at least one year of experience. Bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong communication, organizational, and tech skills, and BLS certification are essential.
Core duties involve evaluating and managing patients through history-taking, examinations, ordering and interpreting tests, performing procedures, and developing care plans to ensure quality, safety, and continuity of care.
Responsibilities also encompass providing excellent customer service, fostering positive relationships, managing clinic operations, and adhering to practice values and policies.
Autonomy, problem-solving, and self-directed learning are vital, along with physical ability to perform clinical tasks.
