Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive wound management for patients with serious illnesses, primarily in skilled nursing facilities.

  • Conduct assessments, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic wounds; develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Perform procedures such as debridement and dressing changes; collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Educate patients and families on wound care and prevention; maintain accurate documentation.
  • Participate in professional development to stay current with best practices.

    • Qualifications include an MSN, active NP license, national certification, and experience in wound care or related fields. Preferred certifications include Wound Specialist or related certifications. Experience in SNFs or outpatient settings is desired.

    This full-time role offers a salary of $100,000-$125,000, with benefits such as 401(k), insurance options, paid time off, and flexible scheduling. The position requires in-person work in Akron, OH, with relocation before starting.
