Job Description
The Family Practice with Obstetrics (FPOB) Physician provides comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, with a focus on prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum services.
Deliver full-spectrum family medicine, including wellness exams, chronic disease management, urgent care, and minor procedures. Provide obstetric care such as prenatal visits, labor management, deliveries (including cesarean sections if credentialed), and postpartum follow-up. Care for newborns and pediatric patients as part of family-centered care. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in quality improvement and patient-centered initiatives. Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention. Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and participate in community outreach, call rotations, and after-hours coverage, including hospital labor and delivery shifts. Qualifications include MD or DO degree, completed Family Medicine residency with obstetric training, current unrestricted license, board certification or eligibility, and relevant certifications such as BLS, ACLS, NRP, and ALSO preferred.
