Job Description
The Family Practice with Obstetrics (FPOB) Physician provides comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, with a focus on prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum services.
Deliver full-spectrum family medicine, including wellness exams, chronic disease management, urgent care, and minor procedures.Perform obstetric care such as prenatal visits, labor management, deliveries, and postpartum follow-up.Care for newborns and provide pediatric services within family-centered care.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in quality improvement and patient-centered initiatives.Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention.Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and participate in community outreach and call rotations.Contribute to hospital labor and delivery call schedules, including after hours and weekends.Qualifications include an MD or DO, completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency, additional obstetric training, and a current, unrestricted medical license. Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine and certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and ALSO are preferred.
